How have I changed as a result of this experience?
I started this assignment trying to control what I was doing individually, but when we put together all the pieces of pallets, timber all mingled and then I started thinking of creating a team work. My work will only be good if the other is also. Since then, I tried to talk a lot with my colleagues to see if we were all doing the same things. I was a little disappointed in the classroom at that split the wood to assemble the modules, because we had three groups of wood left over and no one else was willing to work on these modules, this time I felt that some people were only interested in finalizing your module and disinterested on the needs of the group.

What parts of the experience were the most / least valuable and why?
The part of the experience that I liked most was the construction of the first module, because the material on that moment starts to take shape, and approach the design we were expecting. I also found it extremely important tests involving the shape of the sculpture. From the first moment when the play took shape vertical until bedtime when we decided to get to the nests and dynamic result that we got. The timing of this process that discouraged me most was the lack of help and neglect we face in the wood workshop, because the man who was there to help was lazy and rude at times.

How does what I learned report to my other courses / co-curricular activities / or to me as a person?
For me as a student of architecture is super important when we participate in the process of a project taking shape. And in this case was more than that; modules took the form of the original design, but the way they were assembled was even more interesting, so an improvement in the final result.

What specific skills I have practiced / do I need to develop a better job the next time?
I'm sure the only "skill" we have to do a job like this, involving a relatively new material for us is INTEREST. The joinery techniques, despite being a novelty, were relatively simple, so with a little attention, concern and care, we can learn how to join pieces of wood, making grooves and build great element.
